Animal Crossing: New Horizons Summer Update Wave 1 patch notes

Animal Crossing Summer Update Wave 1 Details

The Summer update is live in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. The Wave 1 Summer patch will bring new content to the game, and some game-changing alterations to the water around your islands. You can go swimming now, but there’s so much more. And we can see how much more thanks to the patch notes having just been released. The patch notes are very scant, in typical Nintendo fashion. Clearly the developer wants us to figure this out on our own.

And with the Summer update, there’s tons of stuff to do. The patch is adding diving and swimming, but that’s not all. Along with all the new stuff, there’s also a large population of deep-sea creatures coming to your island as well. And when you’re out hunting sea creatures, try stopping by with Pascal and see if you can get any of the Mermaid DIY Recipes from them.

By the way, you will need to swim to find these sea creatures. Once you get your swimsuit, you need to head out into the water. These aquatic animals cannot be obtained via the usual fishing procedures. Once you there, look for the bubbles rising to the surface. Once you spot this, dive down and see what’s there in the briny deep. You will see shadows marking some kind of creature, similar to fishing.
