Grounded is a new Obsidian RPG that has a ton of mechanics in it, and a surprising amount of depth. Grounded crafting recipes, in particular, are a major source of much of the game’s depth. As you play through the game, you must survive the perils of giant bugs, starvation and a dangerous environment, all as a very tiny human.
Going through a scaled-up backward, you will encounter various bugs, plants and other challenges to overcome. The plants, bugs and other items you harvest can be taken back to a field analyzer at a base camp to scan them. These resources are scanned and unlock a variety of recipes. And as you adventure through the backyard, you will uncover more and more items to craft. This includes all the way to the powerful Level 3 tools, weapons and armor.

These are some of the many different items that can be found or crafted in the game. You will want to rush for the Tier II tools for a start. You will need to hunt Ladybugs, Spiders and other bugs to find the parts you need for them as well. To craft these items you will also need a Workbench. The next goal you should take on is building a house and setting your respawn points.
