The Dawning has returned to Destiny 2, and that means there’s a bunch of special new items to earn through confectionary farming and crafting. The Dawning is live now and runs until January 5, 2021. That gives you a total of three weeks to score all of these items. Once again, the community has a new set of goals to earn. Both the community and individual players can earn rewards by turning in these items and farming Dawning Spirit. Here are all of the Dawning 2020 Recipes that are active this year, which are a big part of the event.
Each recipe has a set of ingredients that you need to combine with a few items. You will often need to combine Dawning Spirits with each of the recipes to make the items. You will then need to take the complete items to the right NPC. Banshee-44, Shaxx, and Zavala or Devrim Kay are all supported, check the lists below to find the right destination for each recipe.
Best Dawning Spirit Sources
The primary way of earning Dawning Spirit is through Eva Lavante’s daily and weekly bounties. You can also earn more by taking on various seasonal events and raids. Check the Season of the Hunt category under the Events for more events that you can use to earn more. Also, you can earn bonus Spirit for turning in enough recipes this year. For example, turn in 120 cooked items to some vendors to earn a boost.
You can redeem these for various rewards, with some new stuff added this year. Eververse has a new Xenophage ornament, Glee Barrage, and a new Monte Carlo ornament, Merry Maker. That’s just the tip of the iceberg too. You can earn some ship cosmetics and other stuff too!

How to get ingredients
Each of the ingredients you can unlock for these recipes for the Dawning 2020 events can be gained from doing a certain activity. Most of the recipe ingredients can be earned from a certain type of kills. Score kills with either killing certain mobs, or taking out enemies with certain weapon categories.
