Adept Igneous Hammer god roll – Destiny 2

Destiny 2

Adept Igneous Hammer was introduced in Season of the Chosen, and has benefited greatly from the recent Trials rework in Destiny 2. Adept Igneous Hammer is this week’s flawless reward, which means you need to be victorious in 7 matches in a row. Then, stop over at the lighthouse to grab a copy of this Legendary Hand Cannon.

As a Trials of Osiris weapon, this one is only available to those players that fight their way through that chaotic battlefield. You will have to put in some work to get it done, but it’s well worth the wait. This guide will walk you through some of the best rolls for Adept Igneous Hammer, and why you should use them.

Adept Igneous Hammer god roll PvP

  • Barrel: Hammer-Forged Rifling
  • Magazine: Richochet Rounds
  • Perk 1: Quickdraw
  • Perk 2: Rampage
  • Masterwork: Range
  • Mod: Adept Icarus Grip

The use of the Rampage perk here offers tons of boosting to DPS. Three times worth of DPS stacks can make a huge difference if you can keep the kills up. Swapping to the Adept Igneous Hammer to finish off foes can be a great way to do this. When running with this hand cannon in PvP, you want to be able to put rounds on target before anyone else, so range boosts and speed boosts are key. The combination of Ricochet and Range Masterwork applies this principle well.

Adept Igneous Hammer god roll PvE

  • Barrel: Fluted Barrel
  • Magazine: Appended Magazine
  • Perk 1: Rapid Hit or Outlaw
  • Perk 2: Rampage
  • Masterwork: Reload Speed
  • Mod: Adept Big Ones / Adept Reload Speed

Fluted Barrel will help rein in that wily stability and increase its handling, making it easier to apply DPS. Getting that extra space in the mag with Appended decreases the need to reload as much, allowing for more use in PvE. But still, you will need to reload at some point. The second perk slot is a bit more open. With Rampage, you need to keep kills coming, so having faster reloads helps a lot.
