Achievement hunting gamers know the challenge and satisfaction of completing a game. Getting a full 1,000 points on Xbox 360 was a common thing back in the day. Even entire internet brands have sprung up around the idea of creating content and guides, showing video game fans how to unlock the hardest achievements. Sony followed Microsoft’s example with Trophies starting on the PS3, and millions of gamers have hunted these tasks in hundreds of games over the years. The status symbol of Achievements and Trophies within video games has certainly waned, but this has not stopped hardcore gamers from hunting for more GamerScore or Trophies. And with the release of Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, Bandai Namco has put tons of hidden tasks into the game for players to grind out.
The variety of content within these challenges is pretty huge. Some of these can be gained by just playing the game, others will have to be ground down or searched for. There’s story content aplenty, but so much more is in the Achievements and Trophies in the game. Sub-stories are also covered. Playing through various missions can earn some, there’s even a Z Encyclopedia that can be unlocked, and that will update as you play and complete tasks. Completing 400 entries within it is one of the more grindy achievemnts.
Turtle School challenges start off the list of mini-game and side quest trophies. These are followed up with a bunch of other Achievements and Trophies in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot. The game is an open-world adventure RPG, so there’s a bunch of hidden challenges to uncover just through exploration. To find all of the secrets, it becomes quite the task to uncover everything in the game. Heck, there’s even a trophy for uncovering all of the trophies.

- Let The Building Begin! – Build a machine part
- Medal Madness – Collect 10 D Medals
- Newfound Power – Acquire a Super Attack or Mastery in the Super Attack Skill Tree
- Not Worth My Time – Get an Instant Victory on an enemy
- Only the Finest – Make five full-course meals
- Purging the Plague – Defeat 30 villainous parties
- Push It to the Limit – Complete 10 challenges at a Training Grounds location with any character
- Robot Rider – Build a Bipedal Robo Walker
- Shenron’s Favorite – Summon Shenron 10 times from the Dragon Ball menu to make a wish

- Thirsty for Knowledge – Unlock 200 entries in the Z Encyclopedia
- Tough Enough – Complete a level 10 challenge in the training room
- Turtle School Legend – Complete 50 Turtle School training challenges and report to Master Roshi
- Turtle School Master – Complete 20 Turtle School training challenges and report to Master Roshi
- Turtle School Trainee – Complete a Turtle School training challenge and report to Master Roshi
- Who Needs a Phone? – Receive 20 telepathic messages from King Kai
