A series of tweets has revealed that EA’s Star Wars Battelfront will be part of the Early Access program on the Xbox One console. Star Wars fans on Xbox One will be able to play the upcoming shooter from DICE first. Responding to the excitement over Star Wars Battlefront‘s upcoming gameplay reveal on Twitter, Xbox Marketing Lead Aaron Greenberg told fans that they’ll be able to “play it first on Xbox One.”
Head of Xbox Phil Spencer has also tweeted a confirmation of the plans. DICE and EA will unveil Star Wars Battlefront gameplay footage and details for the first time this Friday during the Star Wars Celebration in Anaheim, CA. A gameplay trailer will debut online during an EA-hosted panel starting at 10:30AM PST.
