The announcement of Path of Exile’s 3.0 expansion has caused a huge stir of hype and even some panic among the playerbase. As a result, lots of questions about details of the expansion have cropped up all over the place. Luckily for us, POE streamer ZiggyD just released an excellent interview with GGG developer Chris Wilson where they talk through the finer points of the future of the game. Discussion in the interview details basic plans for Act 6, how story progression will tie into resistance penalties, Labyrinth progression and a lot of minor details about leveling. The details of the Legacy League that will release later this week, so keep checking back for more.

How will Bandit quests work? Skill Point Quests? Resistance Penalties? Will development continue now that we have 10 Acts? Trading? Balance? And so on… All of your burning questions answered! I spent hours scouring Reddit and Social Media to grab all the things people were curious about and then asked them to Chris Wilson, Managing Director of Grinding Gear Games.

Path of Exile 3.0 should be releasing around July 2017, after a beta set to begin during the 2.6 Challenge league early next month.
